RAC villages The Redd+ Assistants Collective is a collective of representatives of indigenous communities living in the interior of Suriname. A collaboration between the Ministry of Regional Development (RO) and the ministry of spatial planning and forest management (RGB) has lead to the creation of a map with all the villages. All existing data was used including the villages mapped on the CBL maps (Central Bureau of Areal mapping). Satellite imagery and the field expertise of the ministry of regional development was used to identify the geographic location
