Accessibility to regional cities dataset is modeled as a raster-based travel time/cost analysis, computed for the major regional cities (>47k habitants) less than 200 km from the border. The following cities are included: City - Population
Cotonou - 679,012, Porto-Novo - 264,320, Ho - 104,532, Djougou - 94,773, Bohicon - 93,744, Hohoe - 73,641, Tenkodogo - 61,936, Bawku - 61,151, Natitingou - 53,284, Yendi - 51,727, Bolgatanga - 49,162, Lokossa 47,246.
This 500m resolution raster dataset is part of FAO's Hand-in-Hand Initiative, Geographical Information Systems - Multicriteria Decision Analysis (GIS-MCDA) aimed at the identification of value chain infrastructure sites (or optimal location).
